Towards the end of 1960s, Roy Jacuzzi was experimenting on a water jet system which had the ability to create bubbles. It was the famous Venturi system that he had invented a few years ago. He managed to create something that looks like the hot tub we use today, therefore his name was used so as to describe and characterize this particular type of water jet tub. The Venturi system was incorporated and used in the hot tubs produced. Since then the sales of the particular product skyrocketed, although the hot tubs that were created in the 60s were the first models. That was a big success for the family who managed to expand the sales in the international market. Most of the hot tubs manufacturers today use the same Venturi system that Jacuzzi created a few decades ago.
